Putting Parental controls on Piper

Got my 7yr old a new Piper. Love it to bit. Took us about 2 hours to pull it all together while Mummy was out shopping. Some of the instructions on the blueprint were incorrect and have mailed Lt Tommy. Everything is going fine so far. Have updated it and is seems to have work fine.
I had not realised that you could exit minecraft and use it for full web browsing. Also the browser allows incognito browsing. I am sure at some point Jr will figure it out and hence I am keen to add parental controls to all content on it. Is there a way to add parental control/filters etc. Or is there a activity cache/log that i can review without it being deleted.

Also is there a way to link the machine with a Piper account?

ps: I am not a tiger or helicopter dad… I just want a safe sandbox and I have been there-done that (but not when I was 7) :):stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

One thing you could do is remove the browser. I haven’t got my Piper up right now, but you can do a google search ‘rpi how to remove browser’ and find directions.

Let me know if you need more detailed steps.

Point him at some of the other things available, like Scratch and SonicPi
